Bio

With a B.A in Mass Media Studios and a Minor in Sociology from Hofstra University in Uniondale, NY Ivan has been in the film/casting and production industry for over 10+ years.

Ivan has a background in production management, assistant directing, series & host development, booking, live interviews, editing, pre and post production, crew coordination, field production, scripting and worked within a variety of teams.

Professionally thriving in the industry between Los Angeles and New York, Ivan’s producing credits include Juma Entertainment where he coordinated interview shoots for Viacom Media true crime pilot, Murder Ink, where he supported as a field director, director of photography, production designer, and various department heads. Ivan led the casting and development team for the Travel Channel paranormal project My Family’s Haunting a series documenting families as they recount their haunted childhood homes and the chilling events that took place, through sit down interviews and suspenseful recreations. During his time leading the casting and development team, Ivan supervised skype interviews, assisted with production with edits and final creative deliverables. During his time with Noble Savages, Ivan’s role as Casting Director had him overseeing the casting & development for History Channel adventure pitch, Kings of the Wild: a first-person documentary featuring survival experts & wilderness enthusiasts who live and work amongst wildlife. Ivan led as casting director in development with Diga Studios/Paired Up Media where he Managed nationwide casting for Lifetime Television docuseries, Army Wives: Maternal Duty.

He has many producing credits including producer for NBTV/Spirits Network leading Marriott client internal film Storybooked 3 and social content for Marriott Content Studio. Ivan also worked alongside VP of production creating content for Spirits Network OTT platform. As producer for Blackfin Media in New York, Ivan produced true crime series, Primal Instinct and pilot, Tip Line for Investigation Discovery & VH1 as part of Blackfin’s studio team. Ivan’s casting directing includes collaborating with AARP’s creative director to support #DisruptAging campaign to combat ageism. During his time as a freelance producer/casting director, Ivan produced content for Estee Lauder, Duggal Studios, Red Marble Media, and YouTubes web-based talk show Mom’s Basement. Ivan worked as development producer/casting director for NBC Peacock Productions developing true crime series Double Homicide, Disappeared and Ministry of Evil for Investigation Discovery and Sundance TV. More of Ivans credits include Like Father (Netflix), Welcome to America (Bravo TV), Ink Master (Paramount Network), Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall, Food Network Development, Billy on the Street (Funny or Die), Two Cats Productions (HGTV), and 3 Scientists Walk into a Bar (The Weather Channel) and Hungry Games (Food Network).
