Carolyn Popp has a 40-year career as a professional actor, mostly in live theatre from Off Broadway to Utah to Florida. She is married to David Sitler who also coaches with SPA, and they live in their very own “Our Old House” in the NYC area. Over the years together, we have shared the famine and the feast of this great endeavor called ACTING! – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Carolyn and her husband David performed in Ben Platt's music video "Temporary Love." Some may also recall her from Comedy Central's TV series STRANGERS WITH CANDY in which she played opposite Stephen Colbert as his unsuspecting wife Claire Noblet. Carolyn is active developing new plays and musicals at NYU, Cherry Lane Theatre, York Theatre, Jewish Plays Project, American Lyric Theater Center, and Mint Theatre in NYC and with NJ Rep, Centenary Stage and Luna Stage in NJ. As an SPA coach, she is looking forward to helping you develop your talent and skills as a performer.
