Bill Timoney has four decades of experience employed in the Entertainment Industry as an actor, writer, producer, talent coordinator and even stunt coordinator. His recent Broadway credits include NETWORK (as the understudy to lead actor Bryan Cranston) and the 2014 “Best New Play” Tony Award winner ALL THE WAY. His most recent feature film appearances include Martin Scorsese’s THE IRISHMAN and the indie “one shot” thriller LET’S SCARE JULIE.
Bill’s primetime TV credits include the recurring role of “Senator Royce” on the SyFy Channel’s TV series “12 Monkeys,” as well as appearances on “The Blacklist,” “Blue Bloods,” Amazon’s “Hunters” and “The Good Cop,” “Orange is the New Black,” “Person of Interest,” Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” and “Mr. Robot.” Longtime viewers of the soap opera “All My Children” know Bill from his recurring role as the preppie nerd “Alfred Vanderpool,” which he portrayed on that daytime drama from 1982 thru 2005.
Bill specializes in dubbing Japanese animation - aka “Anime” - for English language viewers. He adapts scripts, casts voice talent, and directs recording sessions for the dubs. As a voice actor, Bill has dubbed numerous recurring roles on the long-running anime TV series “Pokemon.”
Bill has taught as an adjunct at Monmouth University and Seton Hall University. He also taught an “acting for teens” program at the International Film & Photography Workshops in Rockport Maine, and a voice acting workshop for the Count Basie Theater’s Cool School in Red Bank NJ. Amazon hired Bill as the on-set acting coach for all the child performers for their
TV series “The Dangerous Book for Boys.” A New Jersey native, Bill currently resides in the Jersey Shore town of Bay Head.
